AFRL DSRC : System Maintenance

The AFRL DSRC Penguin Solutions TrueHPC (Raider) system will be undergoing scheduled maintenance from Sunday, 01 December 2024 at 0:00:00 EST until Sunday, 15 December 2024 at 0:00:00 EST. The following items will be completed during this scheduled maintenance:

• We will be upgrading our kernel from RHEL 8.7 (past EOL) to REHL 8.8 This will include MOFED driver and firmware updates on our HCAs and Mellanox switches.
• Software packages currently on the cluster such as NVIDIA, Cuda, OpenMPI, MPICH, MVAPICH, MVAPICH2 versions will remain available after the kernel upgrade.

Queued jobs that will not finish before the start of the maintenance will not be able to run until after the end of the maintenance.
