NAVY DSRC : System Maintenance

Navy DSRC Archive service suffered a tape state consistency degradation following a power outage from a lightning strike on Monday, 16 June 2025.

Currently staging and archiving from warm storage to tape has been paused. Users can still write to the archive file systems and all file systems continue to be mounted on the HPCs. But retrieval of files on tape is not currently available.

We anticipate the inventory process should last less than 24 hours. Notice will be sent when full service is again available.
