Common System Status Monitoring
The current version of ezHPC (Version 2) provides users information on the status of machines but only for those machines on which they have accounts.
Since the intent of the original BC project was to provide DoD HPCMP users information on the status of all allocated systems, the BC team working with HPC Help Desk and the HPCMP Security Team have come up with a plan to post the status of all allocated systems on the Web sites of each of the six HPCMP DSRCs through authenticated links.
Above and beyond, CCAC has also agreed to have system status monitoring be part of CCAC's informational portal.
Initial discussions with ezHPC Team on "Common System Status Monitoring," started in April 2008. The task was also discussed in detail at the Fall 2009 BC F2F Meeting in Savannah, Georgia.
